Engaging with the government agencies can sometimes be the quickest and most effective way to address systemic problems. Creating working relationships with and demanding accountability from those agencies is a powerful advocacy tool. When used correctly, administrative advocacy may have a broader impact than litigation or legislation or can serve as complement to those strategies. In this workshop, we will discuss administrative advocacy and the state and local level, with a case study in Medi-Cal advocacy.
