Janice Shurlow is a Senior Attorney with the Los Angeles Superior Court Self-Help program. The Self-Help program in the Los Angeles Superior Court is one of the largest in the country. There are 14 Self-Help Centers in courthouses across the county. The Centers are operated by the Court as well as three Legal Aid partners. Ms. Shurlow is responsible for the supervision of the Court-run Centers as well as collaborating with the Legal Aid partners. Ms. Shurlow has been with the Los Angeles Superior Court for thirteen years. Before joining the Court, she spent seven years providing domestic violence legal services.
